State Patrol seeks tips on hit-and-run collision on Highway 16
The Washington State Patrol is asking for help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Highway 16 in Gig Harbor on Aug. 12.
The incident occurred at 6:45 a.m. that morning on eastbound Highway 16 near Wollochet Drive. During what WSP described as a “road rage incident,” an unknown hatchback-style vehicle forced a silver Honda Fit off the highway.
The Fit rolled over, causing “major injuries” to the victim. An ambulance took the victim to a hospital in serious condition.
The hatchback fled the scene.
