Greater Gig Harbor Foundation accepting 2026 Students of Distinction nominations

The Greater Gig Harbor Foundation is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Students of Distinction honors.

The foundation honors the most remarkable graduating students from Gig Harbor, Peninsula and Henderson Bay high schools each spring. Categories include Academic Achievement; Athletic Achievement; Career and Technical Excellence; Community Service Achievement; Music, Arts and Drama; Overcoming Adversity; and Science and Technology.

High school scholarship committees review nominations and narrow them down to final nominees, who then interview with a panel organized by the foundation. All final nominees and Panelist Choice winners are honored at an awards dinner on May 20.
