Letter to the Editor | Where is the bridge toll money going?
Exactly what does DOT mean when they that they don’t have the $12 million to fix the Narrows Bridge? By their own count, there are at least 45,000 cars going across the bridge every day. Doing the math, that is a MINIMUM of $73,912,500 per year. $74 MILLION. So where is this money going? Is it into the 405 and 520 bridges because the bridge accounts were all combined years ago? We need our representatives to demand an exact accounting of the money we have been paying for the bridge!!!!
