Sasquatch Hunt

Peninsula Metropolitan Park District welcomes springtime with a Sasquatch Hunt starting April 1.

The month-long Sasquatch hunt, billed as “a treasure hunt for all ages,” takes place at a different PenMet park each week. Here’s how it works: pick up passport at that week’s park, then find the Sasquatch. Each Sasquatch has a stamp attached. Use the stamp to mark your passport. When you’ve found all the Sasquatches and collected all the stamps, turn in your stamped passport at the PenMet Recreation Center, 2524 14th Ave. NW for a prize. The Sasquatch will be hiding at these parks:

April 1 through 7: Semhel Homestead Park, 10123 78t Ave. NW

April 8 through 14: Harbor Family Park, 6620 32nd St. NW

April 15 through 21: Sunrise Beach Park, 10015 Sunrise Beach Dr. NW

April 22 through 30: McCormick Forest Park, 10301 Bujacich Road NW

Hunters can find clues about where Bigfoot might be hiding here.

Sasquatch may be hiding in a PenMet Park near you.
