Harbor Happenings | Make Music Fest kicks off summer
Summer officially arrives Sunday, June 21, and Gig Harbor will celebrate at the sixth annual Fest4All Make Music Day at Uptown.
Arts & Entertainment Sponsor
Arts & Entertainment stories are made possible in part by the Gig Harbor Film Festival, a proud sponsor of Gig Harbor Now.
The festivities begin at noon with music by the Harbor Ukulele Group playing at Kindship, segueing into the all-invited Pizza Box Percussion Parade through the shopping center.
Four stages — located at the Uptown pavilion, LeLe restaurant, (two stages), and Sleep Number — will have live music throughout the day. The indoor stage at LeLe is billed as a low-volume venue for people with sound sensitivity issues. There’s also a make-your-own-music spot in the area between Sleep Number and Fondi Pizza.
Dan Navarro leads a parade of musicians during United By Music America’s Make Music Day parade at Uptown Gig Harbor on Friday, June 21, 2024.
