Gene Juarez opening in Uptown Gig Harbor on Nov. 11

A new Gene Juarez Salons & Spa in the Uptown Gig Harbor shopping complex will open Saturday, Nov. 11, the company announced Monday.

It will be the salon’s 11th location in Washington state. Previously, the closest Gene Juarez locations were in Tacoma and Silverdale.

The 2,300-square-foot Gig Harbor salon is taking reservations. A news release from Gene Juarez Salons said it will feature signature salon services as well as skincare, waxing and eyelash/brow services at opening.

The Gig Harbor Gene Juarez Salon & Spa is at 4779 Point Fosdick Dr. NW, suite 200.

“As Gene Juarez considers growing into new markets around the Pacific Northwest, we heard from our South Sound guests the need for our offering in the Gig Harbor region,” Gene Juarez CEO Katie Trent said in the news release. “We’re thrilled to join the community of businesses at Uptown Gig Harbor, and look forward to meeting new guests while continuing to ensure our longstanding clientele has access to the level of service they’ve come to expect from our talented teams.”

The new salon and spa will be located at 4779 Point Fosdick Dr. NW, Suite 200. Adjacent businesses in the Uptown complex include MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care, Blue Agave Mexican Grill and Bloom Boutique.
