St. Anthony getting new MRI machine
St. Anthony Hospital plans to install what it has described as a new “state-of-the-art” MRI machine at its campus along Canterwood Boulevard.

Keith Sprague, the hospital’s interim president, said through a spokesperson that a community donor provided the machine.
“We remain committed to meeting our community’s needs and providing the highest quality care,” he said. “We are honored to receive this donation and bring this new equipment to our neighbors.”
To prevent care disruptions while the machine is installed, the hospital has received a permit from the city of Gig Harbor to operate a mobile MRI unit on the north side of the hospital.
