Hundreds of artists of various expertise levels added some color to the sidewalks of downtown Gig Harbor during the 2025 Chalk the Harbor on Saturday, Aug. 16.

Subjects of the chalk art on display Saturday afternoon ranged from plenty of sea creatures to cartoon characters to inspiring messages.

Individuals and organizations also took home wooden fish to be painted so the Downtown Waterfront Alliance can organize them into a community art project.
