Two dead in collision at corner of Soundview and Grandview

Two people died in a collision at the intersection of Soundview Drive and Grandview Street on the evening of Friday, June 6, according to Gig Harbor Police.

The collision occurred at about 6:43 p.m. A social media post by Gig Harbor police indicated a driver experiencing a medical emergency contributed to the incident.

Soundview Drive will be closed for an extended period on Friday night will police conduct an investigation.
