Fish Bowl 2026 set for Sept. 19 at Mount Tahoma
The 2026 Fish Bowl is scheduled for Sept. 19 at Mount Tahoma Stadium in Tacoma.
Both schools’ football teams announced their 2026 schedules in recent social media posts. They show the highly anticipated rivalry game taking place on a Saturday in the third week of the season.
Kick-off times were not announced.
The two teams opened their season with Fish Bowl in both 2024 and 2025. This year, the teams get a couple weeks to warm up.
Peninsula School District moved Fish Bowl to Mount Tahoma Stadium after determining that Roy Anderson Field in Purdy is too small to handle the large crowds that attend the game every year.
Playing the game in Tacoma also allows the district to keep fans of the two schools separated, after the 2023 game nearly devolved into chaos.
Gig Harbor has won three consecutive Fish Bowls. Peninsula won seven straight in the series before that.
