JoAnn June Comine Nolte, 81

JoAnn (Joni) June Comine Nolte passed away on January 8th, 2026, in Gig Harbor, WA. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Joni was born in Omaha, Nebraska on June 21st, 1944, to Joseph Sr and Melena Comine. Her husband Corvin Nolte describes her as ‘a wonderful partner of 40 years, a beautiful soul and a very loving person’. She had big personality in a tiny package. She had a great love of all animals, especially her cats. She had a hilarious sense of humor that kept us all laughing. She had a deep respect for the divine and love of Our Lady, Mother Mary. Her sisters are Mary Alice, Candace, Cheri and her brother, Joseph.
