Rosalie Mae Busz (Kendall) 86, passed away on June 24, 2025, at St Peters hospital in Olympia. Born on September 22, 1938, she grew up in Orting, WA.

The daughter of Stephen and Bertha (Roesli) Kendall, Rosalie was raised devout Catholic and carried that passion throughout her life.

Rosalie married Daniel Busz out of high school, celebrating their 66th anniversary before his death. Their legacy lives on through their five children: Dennis Busz, Andrew Busz, Mary Lamb, Nancy Hansel, and Brian Busz. Rosalie was also blessed with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rosalie was known for her warm and loving smile she shared with everyone. She was a pillar of love and strength for her family.

Rosalie loved flowers, including heirloom dahlias from her mother, and her sister Joan (the Flower Lady’s) shared dahlia bulbs. She enjoyed watching birds and all wildlife.

She enjoyed music, and playing pinochle with friends. Earlier in life she was on a winning bowling team and served as scorekeeper for the boys’ softball league. Later years she was an enthusiastic Mariners fan. She made beautiful oil paintings.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Daniel, parents Stephen and Bertha (Roesli) Kendall, as well as her siblings: brothers Stephen, Robert, Donald Kendall; and sister Joan Bruce (Sauve).

Rosalie’s father served in World War I, her three brothers served during World War II. She was a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 13, 2025, at 12:00 noon at St John’s Catholic Church, 414 E. Broadway in Montesano WA. Reception to follow in the social hall.

Immediate family will be resting Rosalie by her husband Dan in Wishkah later that day.

We will always remember her smile. She is very missed, but we also know she is in heaven.
