Letter to the Editor | Peninsula Light committed to members and the community
While living in Gig Harbor for most of my adult life, I enjoyed working in the Gig Harbor community serving on numerous boards and worked on projects that benefited it, including numerous projects with Pensula Light Company.
I’ve known CEO Jafar Taghavi since 2007 and CEO Rob Orton before him. I know firsthand that PenLight is committed to its members and to the Gig Harbor community. Their priority is transparency with respect to keeping rates power rates down and in watching every expenditure that faces them. The Board of Directors has the same values and focus and should be applauded for their stewardship of Peninsula Light company.
