I would like to publicly thank outgoing council member Jen Woock for her 8 years on our City Council.
Specifically, for
Jeni Listens
Saving Soundview Forest
Maintaining height regulations on buildings in the downtown area
Working to conserve various beautiful and important sites in our area
Working to form a city council that was made up of Gig Harbor citizens. This council did a herculean job of slowing the runaway growth that previous real estate interest on the council had pushed for.
I know there are many more ways Jeni’s work enhanced our city; these are the ones that come to mind and that I am most thankful for.
