Letter to the Editor | Woock fought against realtors, developers
I support Jeni Woock for City Council as she has solidly fought for the citizens of this city against the realtors and developers who want to turn our city into another Bellevue.
She at times appears to be the only one on the city council who actually listens to the citizens as to what they want. She is trying to protect our citizens from being taxed out of our homes.
This city has a significant population of people over 55. We are on fixed incomes. The current city council appears to be willing to increase our property taxes to pay developers to build expensive homes in the city. Jeni is the only one on the council opposing this plan.
