Despite a damp spring, Pierce County has been under a burn ban since June 1. The ban applies only to land-clearing and yard-debris fires, but officials warned this spring about a potentially bad wildfire season.

The fireworks, launched from a barge off Cummings Park, start around 10 p.m. Click here for more information.

Port Orchard’s fireworks display moved this year to Saturday, July 6. The show, launched from Sinclair Inlet between Port Orchard and Bremerton, starts around 10 p.m. Vendors, musical performances and other festivities start at 10 a.m. at Port of Bremerton Marina Park in downtown Port Orchard.
